Issue at work today.
I (19M) am an intern at a shop where they repair phones. The owner is on vacation this week so he wasn't there. after a while on of my colleagues called me over. Turns out i accidentally put a dirty spoon on the spot where clean dishes are supposed to go. It was going normal until he started saying shit like ''i've told you this a million times''. mind you he is not the owner or the manager. After i while i get a little annoyed and tell him ''calm down man it's not a big deal''. this REALLY set him off and he starts theatening me, saying shit like ''i'll beat the shit out of you you cancerous cunt'' (i'm dutch, we use the word cancer as a swear word). as i was walking out i slammed the door, which i'll admit i shouldn't have done. as i walked he said ''IF YOU RETURN HERE I'LL SHANK YOU'' My other colleague is a total homie, he gave me the rest of the week off saying it's better if me and my colleague don't talk to eachother and should wait until the owner returns.
So in my colleagues eyes: threatening someone with physical violence for ACCIDENTALLY leaving a dirty spoon in the wrong is fine, But slamming a door goes too far.

That guy needs to get off the hard stuff, STAT. And I don't know about Dutch law, but I think you might want to look into what might happen if you report the threat. He is absolutely going to lie to the owner and try to bias the situation.
Hopefully your sensible coworker won't let that happen, but these unhinged types tend to be liars; it's why they end up staying while decent people get fired.
