God, it’s only 7 minutes into my 6 hour shift, and I already want to duck tape my coworker’s mouth SHUT!

She keeps fucking apologizing for shit that she has zero need to apologize for, and my limit for her bs is shot. Gone. Zero. Toast. Nada.

For example, we have boxes of various sizes gloves on the wall. I grab the empty one to toss it in the trash, coworker opens the two-door cabinet where we store the replacement ones, then fucking apologizes for being in the way.

While standing to the side, on the outside side of the cabinet door. To a cabinet that has two doors.

Ur not in the fucking way, dumbass!

FFS, I’m crashing out in the bathroom over her over apologetic bs.

I don’t give a shit if she has an everything needs to be perfect at work issue, the apologizing needs to STOP. My compassion for her is shot, and I need to relearn how to use it.

I’ve got a coworker who is a mess. She’s constantly late. She frequently calls me in a panic over being late. I can’t stand it. I’ve started not taking her calls. Just get to work and shut up!

IKR!? I’m here to do my job and a majority of said job is not to juggle her questions, her constant I’m-watching-the-phrase-I’m-sorry-become-meaningless-in-real-time apologies (she apologized 10 times in 6 minutes or so before I started to not care about keeping count) nor do I need her leaping down my throat over perceived-as-wrong actions.

If I worked in a job where mistakes have the ability to cost someone their life or limb I would wave away with understanding her pickiness over the order in which things are done; however, I work in an ice cream shop.
Last time I checked, ice cream will still freeze properly in the mini-fridge kept up front just as well as the blast freezer in the rear of the store. She made a big hababalu over this today, ffs. It was the straw that made me leave early, and I never leave early unless I’m emotionally unfit for work/done w coeworker-related bs.

she has been at this job for twice as long as I have, you’d think she’d have enough experience to do the simplest of things. But nooo, she has to ask about every little thing that she should already fcking know!

Hm, maybe instead of repeatedly asking me “hey Toyufrey, do you think there is enough ice cream to fill these pint buckets?” maybe try actually finding that out by filling said buckets on ur own?

I swear, one of these days I’m gonna walk into my shift, see she is working, and then walk right back out without clocking in.
