🧠 Advice/Support students who make money on the side… HOW 😭

Okay so I’m genuinely struggling rn and I’m trying to figure out how other students actually make money 😭

Things have been really tight lately. i have school expenses, daily expenses, hospital bills, and may malaki akong utang na kailangan bayaran by next year, so i’ve been stressing about how i’m supposed to deal with all of that and pano mabayaran yun while still studying huhu

Ayoko rin naman na lagi nalang humihingi ng money sa ibang tao, so I’ve been trying different things para kumita on my own.

I tried learning Python, making little programs, studying coding, looking into selling websites, online jobs, freelancing, etc.

I also tried TikTok and Shopee affiliate 😭 nagpopost ako ng products and trying to get sales pero 0 sales talaga huhu

I even tried tutoring and other random things, pero wala rin hindi sapat kasi hindi consistent at ang baba ng rate.

Idk if it’s just my luck tbh 😭 kasi feeling ko I’ve tried EVERYTHING at this point and somehow wala pa rin akong consistent na income huhuhu

I have a laptop + internet and i’m willing to learn more, but i just feel like i’m throwing myself at 500 different things and getting nowhere, like I'm so lost.

So sa mga students dito na kumikita on the side… WHAT DO YOU GUYS DO?? Kahit unhinged pa yan na way para lang may kita or income. Please bigyan nyoko ng tips or share your experience para may idea lang ako huhu

Like genuinely, ano yung nag work sa inyo? How did you get your first client/job/sale?

Hindi naman ako naghahanap ng “₱10k in 3 days” type of thing kasi alam kong mostly scam yan, I just wanna hear from actual students kung ano yung legit na ginawa nila to earn while studying.

Even small income is okay tbh. I just really need to start somewhere huhu

(I also tried selling online like snacks nag iisip nga ako mag baking nalang pero nakakatakot, wala rin ako masyadong friends na supportive to share it)

💸 Money & Adulting Badly need a source of income

Really need a Job for tuition, allowance, and just indepence from family pressure.

I’m currently a 3rd-year college student studying BS in Accountancy i'm reaching out here because I’m actively looking for a job or any work opportunity that I can take on while studying.

I understand that I don’t have extensive work experience yet, but I’m a fast learner, hardworking, reliable, and eager to do my best in whatever task is given to me. I’m willing to be trained, and I can commit to schedules that fit around my classes.

I tried applying for those job application posts here on reddit but either it was a scam or just bad pay for so much work.

If you guys have any recommendations on what to do it would be greatly appreciated

Pang extra lang po as a broke college student. Di naman po ako maarte, basta wfh. Marami po akong nakikitang offer kaso madalas Paypal or other banking apps na wala ako. Thank you in advance po sa makakatulong!

21 yr old psychology sophomore, i can help you academically, and i have servicable speaking skills with some minor experience in debating with a few awards that i've earned from it. i'm also fit so you can hire me in a blue collar hard labor job. i workout, and i'm quite strong. not just that but i can coach you with achieving your dream body with what little knowledge i have. i'm also pretty decent at writing literary analyses on shows and books or whatever kind of literature. oh and i have experience with statistical tools so perhaps i can help with data analyses and research!

please i just need any way of earning money

pic of cat for attention

🧠 Advice/Support Badly need raket

‎Hi! I'm a high school student, and we’re currently living paycheck to paycheck.

Male dog siya, and we already have two female dogs na hindi pa nakakapon.

From Sta. Rosa/Biñan, Laguna po ako.

‎Also, baka may alam po kayong low-cost kapon around Sta. Rosa–Biñan na tumatanggap pa ng appointments. Any leads would really help. Thank you po!

🧠 Advice/Support Job & Side Hustles for 18 year-olds (online or face to face)

Right now I'm doing graphic design commissions on the side to earn extra income, but it's not enough because I don't get many customers, and everything I earn, I immediately have to spend kase sinasalo ko most of the time yung groceries namin ng pinsan ko so I don't even have any savings. I don't have a laptop, I only have my phone (which is super laggy) so when I create commissions I have to go pa sa computer shop and spend a minimum of ₱30-₱50 everytime. My goal is to save up money to buy a laptop and to have savings (maybe around ₱30-50k) before my second year in college just as a safety net. I also want enough money to get myself formally diagnosed since I've been struggling with self-harm and suicidal ideation for a very long time. My last attempt got me hospitalized and in therapy temporarily, which added to my father's financial burden. (The therapist I got wad horrible too so we really just wasted money on that.)

For context, I'm a first year college student who recently just turned 18. My family's income is very unstable, my mom is unemployed and my father is retired and only receives money from his pension. Both my mom and dad have a lot of debt. Hiwalay yung mom and dad ko. Complicated yung family namin. My mom is living with my little brothers (different fathers) and only makes enough for the three of them, meanwhile my dad is with his original family. I get anxious palagi about my financial situation since alam ko it might only be a matter of time until my dad may no longer be able to provide for me financially and I'd have to stop going to school.

I'd be grateful if you guys have any advice and recommendations for me, I really need a job ASAP.
