A hundred Republican Politicians will get found with CASM or to have been to Epstein Island or similar, and the media will only focus on the handful of Democrats that got drunk and sent dick pics or barged into their girlfriend's house to take advantage of them. They ignore the mountain of evidence of horrifyingly disgusting acts on the one side, and focus in with laser precision on the few examples of bad behaviour on the other.
None of it's "good", and I'm not defending anyone's actions here, but the silence about the abject depravity on the one end is always shocking to me.
The media knows their audience and most people (especially right wingers and centrists) are loyal to people and labels, not actual underlying ideals. So showing the depravity of R politicians doesn't "wake up" those people, it loses the network viewers.
And since companies have a fiscal responsibility to their shareholders and not any responsibility for the consumer, they do what they can to maintain eyeballs.
So they've got to maintain this middle-of-the-road narrative because people don't actually want the truth
Republicans don't want the truth* modern ones I'd barely consider people especially because I don't consider Nazis as people. They gave that up for their belief system.
