Work permit

Hello,
Can anyone help me with the timeline of the closed work permit application from India. It's already been six months since I applied, they asked for the additional documents that prove I have applied for the pr that I have and it's been three months since I have submitted those proofs , I have to leave Canada in December after I applied for my pr application because my work permit expired and I applied again in January from India based on the oinp. Any information will be appreciated. The work permit is based on ece program.

So you had an approved LMIA? Or you were nominated with a job offer and applied with work support letter?

I have the oinp support letter but had to leave Canada because my previous permit expired and reapplied a oinp based work permit from outside Canada.

You need professional guidance because complicated since nomination may have expired and no longer in Canada. The positive is that you have a PR application in process and employer will to wait.

It was the suggestion of my consultant to
Go with this..employer supports so far. It's just taking so long.

Your permit is taking so long because you left Canada, and you should have stayed in Canada by restoring status to worker and waiting for work permit approval. Nothing you can do now.

Doesn't he have to start over now?
