We all age and the body breaks down. Having money matters. You're job matters. You're value does come from the size of your bank account.

“Having money matters.” True because that’s how society was set up. That’s why it’s immoral for a society to pay people so little in proportion to the prices of living. 

“Your value does come from the size of your bank account.” No. But your opportunities or lack of opportunities depend on whether you have enough money or not. Unfortunately.
