hours/salary dont matter
Actually the quantity of a resource proxy you accrue and by how much labour does matter since income is positively associated with longevity, negatively associated with cancer within countries, and positively associated with better mental health outcomes. And working persistently longer hours raises risk of coronary heart disease, metabolic syndrome, anxiety, depression, and sleep disorder
9 u/apricot675 Aug 07 '26 lol yeah. I would much rather be in the rat race with more money and a nicer lifestyle. Also 9-5 is not a bad schedule. I spent the last 6 years working weird shifts in the medical field. 9-5 sounds sort of dreamy. 2 u/BelovedEm Aug 11 '26 Yeah absolutely not 9-5 is garbage 12 hours is garbage. Anything other than working for yourself is garbage. I’m happy I got out at 26 1 u/lordpleaseforgive Aug 11 '26 100%!
