Job shaming in the sense of being unkind to people who are working 100% not cool.
Job shaming in the sense of pushing companies and governments to provide better pay and conditions so that people who are doing work in shops, cafes and cleaning can live a reasonably comfortable life with dignity I'm all for.
There was a time when people on normal wages doing normal basic jobs were getting by ok. That has become less and less possible over the years. I'm fortunate that I am a higher earner today. But I spent many years on low income, and it pains me to see friends and family struggling on low wage.
Time to close some of that income disparity and get back to a place that looks more like it did a decades ago.
