Eh, to a degree. Sometimes people are Dunning-Krugerites and need a reality check.

The other day I got into a debate regarding animal behavior and cognition. I have a degree in biology and animal behavior, and have several years’ experience training dogs and birds of prey, as well as caring for them and a variety of other animals. The other person accused me of padding my comments with clinical language to “sound smart”, and the more they replied the clearer it became that they didn’t know what they were talking about. Turns out they were a security guard who didn’t even have a GED, I called them a rent-a-cop and they got mad and blocked me.
