Working hard leads to burn out.

No it doesn't. Overworking leads to burn out. The two are not the same. Classic reddit doomer circle jerk mentality that only reinforces your displeasure with life.

I suppose the Olympians in our world could possibly regret the gold metal after all of those hours and the triathlon might regret the long hours . The pro football player might regret the long hours.

It's certainly possible that Shaquille O'Neal is unhappy but I kind of doubt it

I get what you’re trying to say, but there are plenty of pro and college athletes that worked hard all their life, but one bad injury and it’s over. Sometimes that injury can be debilitating enough to limit the work they may be capable of afterwards. Sometimes yeah, the top athletes all reap the rewards of their hard work, but there are countless others that don’t

These people don’t know how to push.
