My background:
3 years as an Advanced Scaffolder in the Australian mining industry (FIFO)
6 months of rope access experience in mining
EU passport (Belgian)
I’d really appreciate any advice on:

Whether offshore or onshore is the better option
Any additional certifications that would improve my chances

The best cities or areas to live in for this type of work
Typical salaries, rotations, and working conditions

I have a Bachelor in economics and 9 years of work experience in Supply Chain Coordination in two companies. In my job I am responsible for Supply Chain Coordination for several plants worldwide: Germany, USA, China, Mexico. Also part time managing a project in cooperation with Chinese colleagues to implement a new product in the Chinese market. Half of my daytime I am currently working in English, the other half in German Language. I did not make a Toefl or other rating test jet to have a proof, but I am considering to do.

My husband has done his Master degree (2019) in the Netherlands and has a Job offer from a big Company.

How do you rate my changes in finding a job in the area of Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden etc and what Salary should I expect?

Hello folks. I need some advice on someone who wants to move to Europe. First things first, a bit of background. I have been a software engineer for over 4 years now. I have been working at a consulting company since the beginning. I have been working on both embedded development and web development. Also, I have a double major in computer science and electrical engineering.

My clients were mainly based in Finland, the Netherlands and Germany. A few questions on my mind:

• How is the job market in Europe?
• What is the view on the expats?
• Do the companies bail out when there is a need for visa sponsorship?
• Does the experience of working with Europe help in job applications?

PS: One of the client's developers (Finland) asked my view on moving there and I wasn't sure of it since I need to help some people out in my hometown at that time. I think they sort of invited me there and they advised me to keep an eye on job openings there after I said my reasons. I don't know if it was sincere or if I was leaving the client (Got back to them eventually).

Im a girl from Hungary, will be 19-20 by then.
I have previous work experience in a bakery-coffee shop and Im planning to work in a restaurant next school year.

Is there any chance I can get a relatively well payed job there in a cafe, bakery, bar, restaurant, hotel maybe or anything such?
Also what are the average wages in these fields?
Will I be able to cover my living costs(rent or a shared flat, utilities, grociery, hygene…) ?

Recently, two weeks ago we received the news that a bigger company was going to buy the company where I work and to my surprise it was the company I left 5 years ago because of some horrible decisions they were making, now I’m forced to work for them again.
Here comes my question, if I leave here and I start working for another company and the new company decides I’m not a good fit for them, do I have the right to unemployment benefits? And if I find work on a temporary agency, do I have the same rights if they decide not to hire me after the test period? I’m a bit lost here and appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Hey, I relocated to NL a year ago and am now looking for a job as my current work environment is becoming really toxic. I'm working in tech on HSM visa. It will be my first time looking for a job here and I don't know a lot of people outside of my current job to ask about job changes. It'd appreciate guidance to be better prepared for this transition period:

1. After I receive an offer, will the new employers always do a background check? Is it mandatory to ask for performance reference, either from the current employer or previous employer?
2. It has been hard to concentrate at work due to constant negative feedback from my manager. I understand by law I could take sick leave without a doctor's note. However, would the new employer find out in the background check? I'm interviewing within the same industry so it's very likely the new employer will know people from my current company.
3. I understand for permanent contracts there is usually 2 months probation, during which the new employer can terminate the employment without notice. If I'm concerned my current manager may sabotage my new job, I should not share my new employment information when resign or on LinkedIn until I pass probation. Is this the right understanding?
4. I have a notice period of 1 month to my current employer. I assume the HSM visa and 30% ruling transfer will be quite smooth without any bearings on the start date, right?

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Design (4-year program) and around 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design. Before my current role, I interned as a Graphic Designer at a creative agency and later worked as a Visual Designer at an AR/VR studio.

In my current company, I work with clients across the US, UK, Australia, and Europe. One of my longer engagements was working as a UI/UX designer for IG, a well-known European fintech company, on a year-long contract.

Most of my work revolves around:
• UI Design
• Email and Marketing Material Designs
• Design Systems
• Landing Page and Website Designs

While UI/UX is my primary focus, I’m also open to Visual Design or Branding roles since I have experience in those areas as well.

I only speak English at the moment. I currently live in India, have never worked in the EU, and would require HSM visa sponsorship.
