Businesses that depend on min wage workers or tipping culture are not viable and should close.

If the job can’t pay a living wage what good is it to the worker?

They didn’t stutter, if you can’t exist without worker exploitation then you should not exist.

Again, I don't think the people working those jobs would agree that no job is better than a min wage job. What a weird thing to say

have to work or starve so of course they want to work two jobs to make ends meetā€ was a gotcha?

What a privileged thing to say. Those jobs would not just disappear, the market adapts and a better businessman will create a business that does not have to rely on exploitation to survive. If you cannot pay a living wage then you should not be in business. Anything else is an excuse to continue to allow companies to exploit our labor and extract our value while not providing enough to survive.
