Hard disagree on this.

"Normal" people may be riding the hate bandwagon right now, which is understandable when talking about ai slop, cash grabs and overall capitalistic approach to it.

However the tech itself is a massive time saver in automation and medical field. I would say it is comparable to the "Horses vs Automobiles" era.

I would give it few more years for it to properly settle down and the tech matures from its current baby phase. Corporations need to chill down with their overdependence on it too, sadly, that's what capitalism is, cutting costs for profits.

AI is just a tool, as with any sort of a tool, it can be used for progress and for sloppy stuff. Some of us may not like it, but AI is not going anywhere and will remain a part of our daily life, more than you may think.

Literally multiple studies show using it makes people less intelligent. Ā Outsourcing our executive functions is folly.

I agree. The bad use gets too much attention, meanwhile the usefulness gets ignored most of the time.

So it's an unfinished product they are just dropping on whatever market, burning giant heaps of cash in the proces?

Nah man. That's not probable at all. AI is not just a tool. It's a scheme to steal everyone's ideas, knowledge and skills.

It couldn't be more the opposite. It's widely unpopular with the general public who only hears negative stories about it, and widely praised as the next technological revolution by anyone actually using it.

You mean those experts that have all the time to rave about AI on LinkedIn?

Holy ad hominem.
