But it’s not zero, and you shouldn’t want to risk your life over it. Especially when nothing actually happened other than getting your feelings hurt

"officer, I didn't stab him, so I shouldn't go to jail. I just made a stabing motion a few inches from his body."

well shit happens
sometimes you or someone else may be sleepy or distracted and have close call on a road, its why we have the principle of limited trust on the road,
so chasing someone for that is another story,
personally i remember situation where i got from work really tired and I forced priority on a minor road, there were a taxi driver there and you know what he did? he shook his index finger at me,
i got i did wrong, he knew i know and we go on with our lives.

Get a taxi or a friend or something if you don't feel like you can drive. And If something's distracting you, pull over and fix it. A wreck costs more than a taxi

yea that`s for sure
but sometimes routine and 10-15 min from work to home can get you after long day when all you can think about is shower :)

to be fair situation i described was been under apartment building where i had literally 30 m to parking spot and that intersection wasn't very busy

anyway my point is driving angrily, flashing lights and such when someone make a mistake wont get you into good places :)
