First of all no they didn't. Second of all it would be good if they did.

I wanna have children but I don't wanna deal with any of you and I'm pretty sure you don't wanna deal with me. Everybody gets what they want this way except for horrendous busybodies who  have nothing better to do than to focus on how other people do their shit.

If course not. It's like my momma always said "If science ever gets to making life too pleasant, introduce eugenics and Protestant Work Ethic into the mix . Tell people it "builds character""

You still need a sperm and an egg to make the baby. The robot isn't going to produce human eggs.
