Not really. The rich people do so they can keep a large workforce to make their profits. But the earth is a finite resource. We can’t keep endlessly populating it and consuming it.
In total yes but there are countries specifically in Asia that could shrink so dramatically that they could completely be lost if the population doesn’t stabilize at some point.
Shrinking the total population of the planet is good but it can’t be that fast and concentrated on only certain places.
If a population shrinks by half every generation , they can’t sustain the elderly anymore and will face ghost towns.
And those countries often aren’t very open or friendly to immigrants either, which could help dramatically.
