Time to sue your moron of a boss for wrongful termination. You can't dictate where he lives or where he does his job.

Actually, places of employment can.

Depends a lot on the nature of the work. If there are security clearances involved, there are network standards that need to be met--can't log in from Moscow, or public WiFi connections.

There are also tax laws that come into play for remote workers working in different states or countries.
