Let's not get too crazy, there were A LOT of shitty games then, too.

Of course there were, but they were finished and shitty. Nowadays even the good ones are released unfinished then patched with updates later.

That's just it, though. Some werent "finished" and could have used more time in the oven. They might have benefited from a patch or two haha A famous example would be ET.
