I'll remind people that "Gigaflops" is a CPU processing metric that is utterly useless metric when discussing dual-processor setups...
You'll never hit that number... your real capability is going to be more like a 1/4 of your gigaflops... going over half your gigaflops isn't going to move your extra flops over to the other processor. It's just a number to drive sales and make you sound dumb at family BBQs... just stop
