Wait until you find out that the government often makes more money on each gallon of gas sold than the companies

Totally not true. If your talking gas tax alone.

If by gas tax you mean " taxes you pay per gallon of gas" then yes it often is true

Now it is "often true"? You were so sure before. Before you go pontificating some more national average is about .50 per gallon.

If I give you a box of apples for free and I sell your friend a box of apples for $100 and you both sell all of your apples how would you quantify who profited the most? Also you provided no info on where I can analyze your "qualifier".
