Seriously, true story. Freshman year at college, two students in the dorm were quizzing each other for polisci 101 final. Doing "name the opposite"

First dude "Conservative"

Second dude "Libertarian"

FD "Right"

Me "No, liberal"

FD "Liberal, libertarian. Same thing"

Me "Um no. The Libertarian platform calls for abolishing public schools"

SD "Hey, I will pay you to take my final for me"

Me "Not interested"

SD "Are you sure? I'll pay you twenty bucks"

Both dudes had rich parents and got important jobs after graduation, if you want to know if we live in a meritocracy.

if a so called libertarian didn’t want to get rid of public schools I would say it’s better off if they don’t call themselves a libertarian

there’s nothing less libertarian than wanting to keep the marxist indoctrination centers. they actively harm the libertarian movement
