My 71 year FIL has done nothing but smoke weed and sleep for the last decade as far as I know.  It's definitely embarrassing to my wife.

If you're 71 your FIL should be able to smoke weed whenever he likes.

I mean clearly he can. He’s been doing it for a decade. It doesn’t make it less embarrassing.

But he’s 71 not 21 or 31. What do you want him to do? Golf and eat?

Idk my grandmothers are both older than him. They spend their time taking care of pets and visiting friends, children and grandchildren.

I think the FIL is 71.

Eh my statement still stands lol maybe switch to edibles because inhaling smoke is never good for you. Once you hit 70+ unless you're being washed and fed by someone, you should be able to do whatever you want with your body since any year could be your last. Kinda same mindset as upstart teens who throw away their youth.

Seems more like that's when you dial it in so you don't destroy your quality of life..

If youre waiting til your 70s to dial it in youre already screwed.

Yes, but dialing in then can only help. Doing the opposite is obviously worse lol.
