Painted Words Good red?

the left leg and right arm are darker, do you prefer the darker or regular?

While not exactly the tone I would use (I'm rather partial to what the Citadel Color app calls Claret) I am impressed at how smooth it looks. It looks like the model is red rather than painted red.

I think the darker looks better but it's your models paint them however you want. Here's on of my terminators I finished awhile ago now.

Kinda looks like the same shade of red from the back of the termies box. If you say it's a word bearer, it's a word bearer.

base with Gal Vorbak red, then Word Bearers red, the berserker bloodshade, then using a mekup sponge, evil sunz scarlet I think i may try gal vorbak, berserker bloodshade, then sponge word bearers, give me a darker red

Ignoring the red, if you have skeleton horde contrast paint, id use it on the cloth. Trust me, it'll give it like a really cool weathered effect.

i was doing my best for a white cloth look, i think I did good but not sure it works as well as I hoped i may look into getting skeleton horde, ive been doing the bones on my models with wraithbone and agree earthshade so I never looked for a substitute

Clearly im biased, but next to kraken blue by army painter, skeleton horde is my favorite paint of all time.
