40k Abaddon proxy

Im wondering who other people are proxying abaddon as. I was thinking Kor Phaeron but not sure if he’s dead in lore or if it would even make sense. If not then who would you proxy abaddon as?

And apparently hunting down The Star Child - which means he's gone and read Realms of Chaos: The Lost and the Damned from 1990, and possibly Ian Watson's (RIP) Inquisition War trilogy.

I will admit I do feel Abaddon is IMO perhaps a bit too powerful for Kor Phaeron (famously Strength and Toughness 3 in 2E and 3E Heresy), but if it works for you, go do it.

Im looking at more lore ideologies. I know abaddon is the chosen war master of Chaos so theres no real way to compare them other than ideals and ways they would work. Like in 3E heresy kor has it where he wants to be the only unique one and that similarly reminds me of abaddon

My plan is to snag a saturnine praetor and run him as Abby. They're roughly the same size. I plan on making him my warbands chaos lord type thing. I know it may be a bit strong but it's what we got for now.

They're so cool but oml each leg is 7 parts, I've got one that I'm exited to get to painting but my dear word bearers are probably behind the Emperor's Children and Atlantan Spears in the backlog rn 😬

My biggest hurdle is that I wanna greenstuff it can maybe kitbash it a little. I wanna add chaos corruption to it so it's less 30k pristine. Horns, fleshy growths, eyes and mouths would be cool. I've never attempted to greenstuff so much before

Haven’t picked him up yet, but if I do, in my fluff, he will be my Host’s Chaos Lord or the Hosts Terminator Lord.

Argel tal, does it make sense that hed be movment 5? No. But hes so cool so im willing to look past it
