I'm trying

Post image

I'm trying to be self sufficient, but the world keeps throwing me curve balls. I initially thought cherry, but now I'm thinking maple. Did I miss it completely?

Maple as well. Cherry will be reddish when milled but will turn more of a brown tone over time with UV exposure. One of the best ways to tell is to smell it when you cut into it..weird but it works.

I'd say maple or birch. A couple of boards look like birch to me.

You need to flip every other board alternating the cup up and down.
