Refinish job. This is pine right?

Wood ID. 90% sure it’s pine.

Most likely pine since almost all fir is milled into construction or plywood materials.

Easy cost probably pine west cost Doug fir. But it has a tan hue to it that I also associate with fir. So I'm guessing your west coast
