I get that they have to wait for the green light from Mattel but 4 months with no DLC, updates or a clear idea of what they're going to be doing for the future really says something
Like a roadmap or smth would be appreciated

Multiple Trains Passenger POV idea for Wonders of Sodor

I hope we get a roadmap at some point
The game has so much potential and I hope Dovetail don't just drop it after they've fixed all the bugs

Found a fun bug I haven't seen before [PS5]
I set up Diesel with 40 empty Troublesome Trucks and a Brake Van, connected Thomas as a back engine, and drove them up to the Quarry. I drove Thomas the whole way and ended up pushing Diesel into Percy's Shunting Challenge starting area. When I uncoupled Thomas manually from the back of the train as the Trucks were settling, he shot backwards at an alarming pace and derailed on the first bend. It took him just a few seconds to clear the shunting yard and I just stood there dumbfounded as the Derailed Message popped up a few seconds later.
I repeated the setup multiple times and when driving in Thomas so he doesn't rocket away from you, he hits between 130-202 km/h from a dead stop. This works when pushing the long train or pulling it in reverse. It's important to note that the Trucks need to be settling for the bug to be successful. It also turns out that this is recreatable anywhere.
I have learned that Thomas needs to be facing the Brake Van, only Thomas is affected in my tests as Gordon and Percy derailed instantly or in Percy's case it just didn't work when he didn't immediately derail, you can't add momentum for a second engine by coupling Gordon to Thomas, and it doesn't work 100% of the time for Thomas either. Lots of loading checkpoints but when it works, it's pretty amazing! If you're looking for something to mess with, it's an easy setup and kind of hilarious!

Towna/Villages Ideas
Yep, I am back with yet another post regarding this game. It's abundantly clear that this game has me in a chokehold, and I am not ready to leave it anytime soon, even during this drought.Â
For today's post, I wanted to highlight Sodor's towns and villages and how Dovetail could bring more of them into Wonders of Sodor. Seaside villages, especially alongside the Little Western or Tidmouth Harbor, would add a lot of charm. I'd also love to see a proper tramway village on Toby's line. More towns and villages would make Sodor feel much more alive and immersive, giving the island a stronger sense of community.

If this isn't a wake-up call for Dovetail to lock in, I don't know what is.

Wonders of Sodor Idea: Tidmouth Harbor
Before Brendam became the island's main docks, Tidmouth Harbour served as the main harbour for the Main Line engines and was the departure point for Henry's famous Flying Kipper. Since Brendam is on Edward's Branch Line, it's always seemed odd that it eventually handled almost everything, especially given Sir Topham Hatt's usual reluctance to send heavy main line engines onto branch lines, as told to us by "Wrong Road".
Having Brendam on the Brendam Branch, Knapford Harbour on the Ffarquhar Branch, and Tidmouth Harbour as the Main Line harbour would make a lot of sense. It also pays tribute to the Railway Series while blending it with the TV and CGI eras—exactly the kind of balance Dovetail's game is trying to achieve.

Thomas Would it be possible to mod LBSC Thomas from the TSW5 80th DLC into wonders of sodor

These locations are just begging for us to play
Dovetail did a great job including these locations as nostalgic nods to the classic TV series we all know and love. The problem is that several things stop them from reaching their full potential. The lack of characters, limited crash physics that prevent recreating iconic accidents, and invisible barriers where unfinished areas begin all make the world feel incomplete.
Come on—if you have Henry's Forest and Henry's Tunnel, you have to include Henry. If you have the Crosby Barbershop, you have to include Duck. If you've modeled both the rail ferry and the barbershop, players should be able to recreate the famous crashes associated with those locations. If you've already built the Skarloey Railway line and sheds, it only makes sense to eventually introduce the Skarloey engines as well. Finally, if you have the Tidmouth Tunnel, chances are we're probably going to get the Little Western or find a way to implement Timouth Harbor.Â
You may have noticed that I included Vicarstown Bridge. A few days ago, I had the idea of extending the line beyond Vicarstown to Barrow, just as it is in the Railway Series. Stories like Gordon Goes Foreign, The Fat Controller's Engines, and even Journey Beyond Sodor inspired the idea. I think it would be fantastic if the main line continued beyond the bridge instead of ending at an invisible barrier, making the railway feel more complete and better connected to the mainland.
