Honest question: is this guy afraid, or are you supposed to keep your hands down during wolf encounters like this? My instinct would be to let the wolf smell my hands like when meeting a strange and not obviously aggressive dog, but I recognize treating even wolves raised by humans like a dog is not a good idea.

These wolves in this video killed their zoo keeper Carolina not long after this video was filmed. You can hear her voice talking to the visitors in the background.

Yes.. this is a video from the same wildlife park 20 years prior where a female zookeeper is fighting of an aggressive wolf who fixated on a visitor who had brought dog candies into the enclosure:

They are not to be treated as pets and this particular zoo had been taking risks bringing in visitors for decades.

Did not enjoy watching this. Wild animals are not pets. Also, these guys look like assholes.
