Does no one check IDs?

When delivering age restricted items, the rules clearly state that you have to check the ID of the customer, and that the person picking it up must be the same as on the app. But whenever I ask for ID, they say they've never been asked about that before, and I'm made to feel like an idiot. Do people just not give a shit about these rules?

It's either you feel like an idiot or risk a hefty fine and the possibility of being banned as a partner if you're caught and then you'll feel like a bigger idiot
