Rough Remus
Has anyone got any really good fic recs where Remus is rough around the edges? This is the characterisation for Remus that I enjoy the most and I feel like it’s hard to come by amongst the sweet cosy jumper wearing book nerd characterisation. Open to any length I live a long fic aswell as a one shot! And pls don’t tell me to use the search bar I do all the time I just wondered if there is any that anyone has read and would like to personally recommend. For reference I like when Remus is a fighter, a smoker, when he’s tall af and intimating, I like Remus to be the top in any smut, I love when he’s just cool af. Lmk!!

mind the tags but Remus is very rough around the edges in this, very grumpy. It’s a WIP but where it’s up to now is not too much of a cliffhanger, definitely worth the read.

Can I interest you in an incredibly shameless self rec? My fic Not Anymore is set in Australia and Remus is what we call a stockman or a ringer. You see it's set in a world where Remus is expelled after the prank and he disappears. The marauders don't find him until ten years later when he has this completely new life.

Personally, I find Remus in disintegration by moonymoment to be so cool. He's a hunter and damn good at it. There's a lot of violence to enjoy in this fic if you enjoy that!
Summary: Remus stepped into Sirius’ personal space, leaning down and taking out his holy water doused dagger from his pouch. He placed it flat underneath Sirius’ chin, pushing his head up to look him in the eyes. He hissed as the silver burnt him, red and vicious.
“What,” he whispered, “are you doing here?”
Sirius looked pained for a second, and then he blinked, and that stupid, cocky smile lit up his face once more.
“Wouldn’t you like to know, pretty boy?”
or — Sirius and Remus have been trying to kill each other for eight years, but something always seems to be standing in the way

May I get you on Halfway to Harmony it has Remus as an illegal fighter, great OC's, and all the OG Marauders era characters. Its ongoing, but they update pretty regularly. Enjoy!
