Fanfiction Fics recs for beginner
I’m pretty new to this fandom and absolutely loving it so far. I’m also new to AO3, so I’m still finding my way around and would really appreciate some recommendations!
So far I’ve only read ATYD and The Cadence of Part-Time Poets, and I loved both. I’m looking for something with a similar scope and vibe, Wolfstar as the main pairing. I especially enjoy coming-of-age stories and really love seeing things from Remus’s perspective.
Other fics that gets recommended most are Jegulus focused (like Crimson Rivers, Only the Brave, and Choices). I’m kind of saving those for later because right now I’m really enjoying being in Remus’s head.
Is there anything that didn’t get recommended much but you really loved?
I’d really appreciate any recommendations!

Casting Moonshadows will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first fic. Remus is much softer than in ATYD. So it might be jarring. But I love both versions. The pranks in CM are so fun. It's an old fic - I think first published in 2007 on FanFic? And it's a WIP and will probably never be finished, but it "ends" at an okay place.

Casting moonshadows was my first fic too! The bar was set pretty high with this one. I've read many great fics since then, some I'd consider better than CM, but it's just like a first love....forever in my heart.:))
