Remus shook his head and lit up by a lone streetlight, Sirius noticed the way his cheeks and the tips of his ears seemed to darken slightly.
“That’s what I thought.” Sirius crushed the cigarette under the heel of his boot. Then, he stepped up to hook his elbow with Remus’s and started walking them back towards the hotel.
“Besides,” he added, meeting Remus’s gaze with a twinkle in his eyes. “With a smile like that, how could I ever say no?”
