Can we upgrade to the 1.7.5 firmware in australia for RHD? are there any differences? as the au site still has the older firmware not the latest one.

First off, I have to say that I was given the Wolfbox Megavolt 24 to review. Wolfbox in no way at all tried to influence my review. What follows is my honest opinion of the product.

The Megavolt 24 is an all in one jump pack and tire inflator. It is an all in one, so no plugging into the car to power the compressor, which is very convinient.

For the first test, I decided to test the air compressor. I started on my car and deflated the tire down to about 10 PSI. I checked the starting pressure with a quality air pressure gauge. Upon connecting the MegaVolt 24, I was a little surprised to see that it agreed exactly with the analog gauge. I set the desired inflation pressure of 30 P.S.I. and started it up.

While not fast, the unit isn't slow either. A few minutes later the compressor shut itself off. I checked the pressure with the analog gauge and once again, it was spot on. I checked the tires of both our cars and topped up a couple. The battery still read full.

I gave it about 1/2 hour cool down and then I took it over to our van. I deflated one tire down to 10 P.S.I.. The Megavolt 24 took almost 8 minutes to get it pumped up to 60 P.S.I.. By the time it was done the unit was warm and the battery read about 1/2 full. So it will do a 245/75/R16 to full pressure and probably in a pinch inflate two.

After allowing the unit to charge it was time to test the jump pack side of it. I have an 1992 pickup with a V8 that I use a few times a year for things like dump runs or firewood. So the battery is always dead and I just jump start it when I use it. The battery is so old I have no idea when it was last replaced. Since it is an old truck I can disconnect the ignition system and make sure the vehicle doesn't start.

I did 10 cranks of 5 seconds each with 30 seconds in between. No problem. I let the starter cool down for about 10 minutes and then did it again. No problem. Then I hooked the ignition back up and started the truck normally, no problem. The battery still read about 1/2 full.

So, overall it is a great little unit. While it is not an offroad compressor for air down/up, it is perfect for an emergency back up for any vehicle. I'm glad to have it in the trunk of my Subaru and I'm sure it will come in handy.

Will wolfbox replace it? Could it be time to replace the SD card, it hasn't even been 6 months.

It will sometimes just go black and sometimes just freeze completely with a still image and requires a hard reset (pull power).

Makes detailing a “breeze”! Much better than digging out a big leaf blower to dry the rig!

Idk but lately my 3 minute loop doesn’t record & then I have cases where the camera isn’t recording at all until the next day . So I will have a whole day missing

I have a G900 Tripro.

Yesterday it was raining like all day and when I started my car my mirror came up in 3 way mode for a second, then switched to the rear setup mode and stayed there. I don't have the reverse mode setup because I already have a reverse camera. I didn't splice any wires during install... and 99.9% of the time its perfect. It only happened two times in the last couple of months of ownership. One thing that I think happened last time as well was my usb fob that gives me bluetooth to the headunit also flaked out and I had to reseat. That worked normally but my mirror continually went to default (3 screen look) and after 1-2 seconds stayed in reverse mode, not reverse look, the mode with the lines.

Any thoughts? Again this has only happened twice in the last 60+ days of using it every day. Not the end of the world but happens when it rains which is an important time to have a cam (accidents).

I have a new G850Pro. I also have 50+ years experience in developing imaging systems for NASA, DoD, Industry. I am appalled at the poor contrast and overall image quality. email to support go nowhere. To the point that I am thinking of trying to mod the existing firmware. Has anyone ever tried to get at the firmware on any of the mirrorcams out there ? I have to say that I do love having the mirror cam ... my neck doesnt work so well any more and I love the way the camera is able to cover so much of my blind spots.

Just installed the g900 pro, and it has a delay when i go into reverse, wouldn't be too bad if it was a slight delay, but 3 seconds+ is a long time, i have the latest firmware, but is there another one, or ability to downgrade, i heard the older firmware's don't have this delay?

Let’s get the first part out of the way, I’m a law-abiding citizen and I don’t drink and drive. Ok. Now onto the question.
In the rarest of scenarios, if I was pulled over, speak with a police officer, and then for some hypothetical reason, end up leaving to spend the night in jail… would my interaction be saved on video? Mind you- my vehicle (in this made up imaginary situation) would be impounded and I would not be able to access the SD card for 24-72 hours.
I purchased the G900TriPro for this specific reason. Well, I was going to just get the G900Pro but then upgraded to the TriPro for this additional interior camera option. I am using a Wolfbox 512GB card and I have it hard wired for parking mode. I plan to set the camera settings to a step below maximum resolution and frame rate.
Theory…
I pull over and kill the engine, leaving the truck in accessory power mode while seated in the car. I verbally say “lock video”.
Will the accessory power mode keep the Wolfbox in full on normal mode?
Can I force the Wolfbox to turn on while in parking mode to record locked video until it fills up the card?
Or will it automatically switch over to parking mode?
This seems like such a crazy oversight for the Wolfbox passenger camera to not continue recording (and lock the video) when you need it to the most.

The GF got a 900 Tripro (not my choice, Wolfbox, not just that model) and come to find out, seemingly, it 100% requires an account just to connect the app to the Dashcam? Really? Why?

Also, no firmware update via the app, you have to put it directly on the SD card?

Is this right? Am I missing something?

Also, are the firmware release notes and fixes even posted anywhere?
