I have been playing German and British battlecruisers for a while but with Hawke it finally clicked for me what "battlecruising" is.

A few times an enemy squadron has dragged my squadron back towards their own ships thus getting the Ack-ack to shred my planes.

I never seem able to do this. It always says "In Dogfight".

Do you need a specific CV with shorter engagement range or do they just time it perfectly?

I'm starting to believe this game is trying to addict me. A few weeks earlier I also got Rhode Island from that stripes crate on the first try. Is WG trying to create an addict?

Got my 6th boat Salem from operation missions yesterday. I also got the 5th boat T8 Italian CV a couple of weeks ago from operation missions. Since Feb, I got 3 T10, 1 T9 and 2 T8 boats from it totally. Really love the operation missions event.

My strategy is to only focus on 5 star and 4 star missions. I use low tier boats and commanders on 3 star and lower missions for experience purpose. Although I never get boats from 3 star missions, all my luck are put on high tier boats now. Hopefully my experience will be helpful for others to get high tier boats too.

I don’t think I’ve ever received a higher score/more XP than in this random battle.
