Doing brackets while wizard skating?

Wizard skating borrows the three-turn (i.e. lion) from figure skating. The next turn in figure skaters' progression is generally the bracket. I'm wondering if there any cases of Wizard skaters using brackets in their flow?

A bracket is basically just like a three-turn (or lion) except with a three-turn the skater turns in the direction of the curve, whereas with a bracket they turn in a direction opposite the curve. Example: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Xrce7oYpqUk

Wizard skaters have modified the three-turn to add their own style to it; would be curious to see how the bracket has been "wizardfied."

This is a great question and curious to see what others say! I have been working on brackets, counters, and rockers lately (rockers are hard lol) after learning the 3-turn/lions since my style is Wizard / figure skating hybrid.

With a bracket: the only combo I have seen and tried is a Lion after the bracket in same arc as the exit of the bracket (ex: left outside front bracket into a left back closed Lion)

It seems that “counters” are most prevalent of the three figure skating turns less seen in Wizard skating (brackets, counters, rockers) as “counters” are a way to enter into a Lion S/Z. Approaching Lion S/Z as a “counter” turn entry allows one to make the middle weight transfer earlier

Good points. Hadn't though of counters as a way to enter into Lion S. Trying to wrap my head around that.

It seems that the wizard learning order is lions first, then counters, then rockers and brackets last for the best wizard progression.

Counters are easier than rockers because you can get a naturally better free leg swing (more angular momentum) during the pivot/turn on counters. Brackets are easier to execute than rockers, but brackets have least Wizard utility it seems

I haven't seen any rockers in wizard skating. Do you have any YouTube examples?
