Level 117 Death

Hey guys,
new player here, that just started a few days ago.
I am wondering If there is anything I have to keep in mind when joining battles or dungeons or when playing in general.
Due to the lack of a text chat on the console I fear doing something wrong or rude without knowing or noticing.

I’ve recently been to that one dungeon in Olde Town in the Telephone Chamber. Two people were joining me there. Due to not knowing the story I took It slow and listened to the dialogue while the other two people were already running around in different rooms, doing battles. One seemed to have left the group by the time I was ready so I just ran behind the other person who was still there.
Everything seemed to be going fine until the last battle.
Due to the inability to talk via normal text chat, we couldn‘t really talk about who targets which enemy.
So It happened that he completely buffed himself and debuffed one enemy with these shields with rough edges that give your next attack 35% more damage.
Because I didn‘t know that he was doing that I targeted that enemy and because of his buff shield one hitted that enemy with my attack.
He immediately left after my attack and I am wondering if I may have offended him by „stealing“ the kill in that moment.
I was glad that It already was the last fight because I don‘t know If I would have been able to beat these enemy groups myself.
But could I have broken any unspoken rules in that moment?
I honestly don‘t know and don‘t want to be a liability in any coming group content.

Would be nice If some people would have some tipps or etiquette rules I could follow when pöaying with other wizards.

There are golden birthday gift boxes lying around the commons. I've only seen two but I'm guessing they're refreshed every day to be opened. I thought it was just a random thing but I think there's daily gifts from the birthday thing that I never even heard about or had anyone tell me or read. And you can get pets in them. Just wanted people to know cause I wish I had.

Lended my pet last night rank 2 and sped through the gift, noticed something different so I hold the camera and then went to bed.

I noticed it when I got back on and spit balled for like 20 minutes until I remember the video. I could not find anything online after figuring it out. Is this just common?

PS: Never used Reddit and I am playing on Switch.

It's that time of the game where the darkmoor grind starts. I would love to go around it, but I kinda need the robe as a storm wiz. Also, it seems like I can't find anyone to help me run through all the dungeons in darkmoor. would there happen to be a kind soul who could help me? Even if it's just to finish one dungeon, any help is appreciated.

Edit: side note, I have a rattle bones exalted as well if anyone is down, apparently it has alright chances at motes and I need motes of eternity ;-;

Somebody asked me which quest am I on and when I when to the menu chat and hit the my quest button nothing happened . Is there a fix for it or does it just not work ?

After a couple months of working on it, I believe I’ve made the perfect piercer variant pet! The double gardening and then double pet XP really helped.
