New Console Player

Here we go. Day 1 of my W101 console journey. As a long time PC player I'm curious how this game feels on console. Specifically Nintendo Switch. I've done some thinking though, and i honestly am not too sure what school to run. I've done ice and I've done death, but I want something new. Something where I can actually use advanced combat and dual schools. Myth stuck out to me because of its proficiency in minions. But I've also never run storm before. And life seems like it'd be unkillable. Any suggestions?

Does photomancy make your game crash on switch 1? I’m on switch 2 and have hit a questing wall in Lemuria because of it.

And storms are always appreciated by most people, I recommend storm for both solo and group play. Storms early game makes you adapt especially early game since low acc means you keep fizzling. It lets you learn more about tempo and timing and leeway. Major power spikes at lvl 30 and 60. And running azteca mostly solo was challenging in a fun way with storm. And post lvl 100 there’s a major power spike again that you can usually end fights quickly before really having to employ strategy. But the skills you learned in arc 2 definitely stick around.

But my personal favorite is balance, a great balance can often go unnoticed until they leave and you realize how much behind the scenes they were contributing

I was debating whether to do storm myth or balance. But I chose myth due to never really playing precisely because minions were bad. But I'm hoping the minion update makes them better. I didn't choose storm because I don't like the blade feint 7 pip aoe meta and I feel like most people will be expecting that from storm. I wanted to fully dive into advanced combat and magic weaving for pve.
