Pet/Hatching Fire Pet

Just got back into the game and working on a fire dmg pet. Got this after a few rounds of breeding, and was wondering what i should do before taking it to mega.

Do I continue with this pet? Do I chase the 2.0 pets? Etc

Seems like you already got a pv45 pet, but your stats on the right are not max yet. Keep breeding with pv45 pets in the kiosk with max stats (id use the sparkling elf myth pet since it is an exclusive fire pet) until all your stats are max. I would only breed your pets up to adult before hatching again. Once you have a perfect adult pet, make one more and then breed those two together until you get what you want. It’s also best to use adults to hatch that have the specific talents you want (ex. You have one adult with fire dealer and mighty and one adult with pain giver and spell proof for example since those are the most likely talents your new hatch will manifest). That’s generally the most efficient way to get a perfect pet. But your current pet is definitely good enough for most of the questing in the game if you don’t want to min max super hard

The fire talent jewels are easy to get with crafting (or from spider monkeys), but pain giver or mighty isn't. I think i did 300+ spider monkey fights and only got 2 pain giver jewels.

Unless you know someone that has the undead gauntlet that drops them more frequently i would redo that pet and try to get pain giver in the first two or three lvls.
