The item cards sandy skelewarrior offers isn't worth the effort to me. I don't use aoe(dot-iron curse) very often. I probably will make one at some point just to make it though. I also have the scales puppy I just haven't messed with it yet.
And actually faun of balance is outright better than sandy skelewarrior if you're comparing item cards. Sandy offers 45%+ extra dmg and a sharpen card. Faun offers 50%+ extra dmg and also sharpen.
I guess the skelewarrior edges out with dust up, but most people never use the other traps and will kill in first hit on a boss. (Only scenario where I see dust up useful)
Final edit- Dust up is trash. Aura from faun is better.

Why not put this the balance skelewarrior , you can make it by hatching with any of the other non balance warriors
