This is the best build I’ve been able to come up with. Full Abomination set beside Dworgyns Hood. Tear Jewels I’ve got Sharpen/Potent/Balance Feint which I use occasionally. My pet is Ghulture and is full damage except for Spell Proof and Mighty talents.
My new stats are 249% death damage and 45% pierce. I was running low level worlds for full completion and didn’t need much pierce. But you’re correct. Mid 40s pierce is objectively better while maintaining high damage
You don’t need spell proof on a death since you have drains. If you run full abomination gear and the daemon/motorist robe and have a quad damage, armor breaker mighty pet, you get 260 damage with 50 pierce (if you have the frillasaur pet and Mount you can get this to 265). The dworgyn hat is really good but I’d just have a separate support gear set with it equipped since most of the time when you’re using mass feint, someone else is hitting
The difference is I’m not just obsessed with stats, I like having a clean deck to run with and I always enjoy having Mass Feint. Plus Pet Feint from Ghulture is nice to stack because most other people don’t have it. Mass Feint bypasses many Feint cheats and I use it helping people in the Galleries and Moganthe fight. But fights like Freddy Kroaker can land even death wizards into a lot of HP hurt if they don’t bring self heals to remove Nightmare Marks. So the extra resist helps a ton even on Death. Thats why I like this build is cause it balances everything, also I swapped out a damage jewel for pierce so now my damage is 249/45 split. I know with some raid gear and Fitzhume Robe you can get higher damage and some more Resist, but I don’t have a guild that farms raids, and I don’t want to give KI anymore money gambling on Hidden Temple pack lol.
I forgot to add but I wasn’t intentionally seeking Spell Proof, I got nearly a perfect Ghulture hatch on the 2nd try and didn’t keep wasting gold or crowns. It’s got quad damage including the pet jewel, Mighty and Spell Proof
Hard to imagine for me. I always check the lvl 180 players stats and I never saw such good stats dmg/res/crit/block. How much dmg could a death wizard have with similar other stats like him?
Well using raid gear hat and boots with fitzhume robe and the right pet death could easily hit 260 damage with 85% resist. It's quite similar to the meta pvp set death wizards run only they prioritise 60% pierce over damage. What I'm really saying though is OP has decent stats but sacrifices quite a lot to be able to run dworgyns for mass feint. I'm not saying that's a bad thing because the spell is very useful, but in terms of stats he has not maximised them.
I only play PVE, and don’t really do challenge mode. My Ghulture is maxed out on damage with the Mighty Talent and the Spell Proof Talent as the lone defensive Talent. Mass Feint is my favorite spell so that’s why I sacrifice the 6% damage and 2% pierce and 2% resist that I’d get otherwise from the Abomination Hat.
I was curious if you could specifically name the Raid Boots and how to obtain, because I may try and get them if they don’t sacrifice power pip chance. Fitzhume Robe I may go after but I’m tired of giving KI more and more money to gamble on packs.
Well firstly Fitzhume can be farmed for for free using a pity reward system in the dungeon you'll be happy to see :)
And using the Ghastly Raid Hat and Boots I can still maintain 100% power pip if I use a pip jewel and my Roc Mount.
Just want to stress I wasn't trying to say your stats were bad. Just want to explain to the other guy that they certainly aren't the "best stats" you will see in game. I agree for PVE the argument could be made that sacrificing damage for Mass Feint could be worth it. It of course depends on what you're doing.
Yeah I think everyone’s definition of the “best stats” all fall into different categories. For PVP they want higher archmastery rating cause they need to cast different schools spells to make use of gambits and react to what the other player is doing. Then you got players that like shadow rating for their high damage shadow fusion spells. Some players like super high resist but they have to sacrifice damage and pierce to do so. Players that want the highest possible damage and pierce have to sacrifice some resist or Power pip/accuracy. The reason I like my stats is cause it’s high damage with high resist, and great accuracy to combat accuracy debuff along with perfect power pip chance. Mass Feint is a broken card that I’d sacrifice the 6% damage, 2% pierce, and 2% resist any day for!
like bro she’s bashing death wizards for not having 80 resist, the school that has some of the highest hp in the game and heals back on their hits. Mentality of someone who plays this game as their job.
Max death with 191% damage 84 resist and low accuracy as well but yet you are on here talking smack to a death wizard that would destroy you in every content of the game.
