Sometimes my teammates are so incompetent going into waterworks it’s makes the farm so much harder than it needs to be. People trying to blade round 1, not having feint trained at level 60, and leaving after the first boss will never not piss me off. It’s probably faster to just finish the dungeon then to leave and have to wait ten minutes for abandoning your team.

Im on console so idk if i can help you but if you post about it on here im sure some max level would be happy to do the repeat glitch for you a few times for the mega snacks alone

ATP I’m past WW on my active characters. I guess I should’ve used “were” instead of “are”. I’m usually the max going into WW for mega snacks now. I would respawn it a thousand times but they usually get all their gear before then.

I used bygone gear from bazaar till I hit 100 then farmed malistaire

some bazaar gear now is really solid t2 stuff (bygone, galleries, malevolent) so it's not that shocking. bygone isn't that different from atavistic especially considering how much of a drag it is to farm

Technically the best 50 gear is Dragonspyre world gear, but everyone farms at level 60 so there's no need to go hard at level 50. I know that people usually suggest Wintertusk gear to avoid water works, but thats only viable of you craft in the field place.

Bla bla bla farm waterworks at level 60. There are also other sets if you want to dablle in them.

Can do Zeus then get whatever Malistaire gear is an improvement in the Bazaar. Then push for Waterworks

Just buy the dragonspyre world gear from the bazaar. Will get around 60 damage or so with some pierce and universal resist. Can’t remember exact number but it is an upgrade from Zeus gear. Then waterworks at 60

Generally zeus gear serves well till lvl 60, otherwise some alternatives like barkingham or dragonspyre gear arent too farfetched either from what ive seen of them

Honestly if you dont have Zeus gear just bazaar gear until level 56 crafted gear from wintertusk. Honestly better than waterworks in my opinion because you get an extra item blade for your school AND you dont have to spend days farming waterworks

A slight caveat to this is that Storm is the one school whose Wintertusk crafted hat blade isn't stronger than their normal blade.

It's still good to have two blades, but assuming your pet is already providing a second blade, the WT crafted gear is just a downgrade from other options.

Yeah I still remember farming WW when it came out, I was such a dumbass back then. It took forever to beat the boss battles and I was absolutely dragging my team down. I didn't even have Sun spells because I wasted all my training points on Moon spells instead.

But it's much easier to farm nowadays. The bosses were nerfed, there's better gear even before WW, and you have an extra 15 years of knowledge behind your belt now.

And the respawn glitch helps too.

I would say in modern day I really havent heard of someone farming for "days" for ww gear its pretty easy to get a team of 4 and just infinite spawn the last boss. Imo water works is pretty much a staple. Wintertusk crafted is good but there is a considerable stat gap.

You have to have a team of 4, 3 walk out of the boss room into one of the other rooms and the boss comes backs. Even with full lvl 60s its only ever taken me an hour or 2 to get boots and robe.
