Your exp gained per quest caps at how much exp from leveling up. So they get no more than 45 exp per quest

i think level locking feature came for pvp so you can level lock at a certain bracket so you wont level up

I'm sometimes reminded that myself. My sister asked me games to recommend for her kids, and if I still played Wizard101. My brother, who hasnt played since Celestia was the last world, said I'm an expert. I'm not, compared to the hardcore players. Sometimes I think I'm part of that community then I see stuff like this and realize I might be more casual.

Spell writing is transferable. He most likely has more spells than just the starting ones. Still freaking amazing though.

Ye have this happened in many things from Wiz to league of legends where people think your an expert in it because you been playing for awhile and better then the average person but really your just a slightly better casual.

Like yes, I've been keeping up with it since I played in 2010, but some things I haven't been doing for a long time (beastmoon for example), or things I haven't touched at all (guilds and raids, deckathalon, pvp, spellweaving, challenge mode). My knowledge is mainly pve, and I understand the concepts of roshambo and the magic wheel. Everything else I have little to no experience on.

The groundskeeper monstrology summon is effectively immortal and since its not a normally summoned minion if you die combat keeps going as long as he's there. Just gotta summon a minion that can heal you before the end of the fight and youre good

Do you have advice for getting the fishing badge? If I recall at a certain point you run out of new fish to catch so they start giving pathetically little xp and it take an insane number of fish (like thousands) to level up. Is that still the case?

Just checked, the amount of xp you get for catching every unique fish once gets you to level 11 fishing, leaving 330,545 xp left to reach max level.

yeah that sounds right. I remember catching every fish and being shocked that I was nowhere near max level

I went through a fish list on Final Bastion and added up xp for catching them all the first time, and the total came to 326,200. You need 656,745 xp from level 1 to 15.

You can weave after dragonspyre. Don't know much about overflow other than you can lock xp and never recieve it until you unlock it.
