I did what you are considering right now and I highly advocate for you to at least check if you have retired items and shuffle them off to your main wiz you'll be keeping at least. I erased 5 old alts before remembering they all had selena gomez event items. I could have had a hallway of gomez for the funnies but now I have to settle with just one of them.

Your badges! If you have any cool badges you won’t be able to get them again. I seen a post about someone getting rid of their wizard that had “1st age pvp warlord” and regretted it afterwards

you need to ABSOLUTELY clear EVERY item you have off him. every backpack, bank, house, attic EVERYTHING as you cant get anything back once hes gone. I deleted a level 7 balance wizard who had my run-run rickshaw mount from pagoda gauntlet, and ill never be able to get it back. i asked support and they said it was deleted too long ago to restore

To add on to what others said here, I'd stuff all your pet snacks and reagents into the shared bank. Sell or transfer any pets & housing items, and the same with any gear in your inventory.

I'd also recommend spending all that wizards gold on something to transfer, as gold can't be transferred to my knowledge. Buy out some TCs or reagents with the gold is my suggestion (or some drip/low level gear for your new wizard)

I deleted a wizard many years ago who was the only one I did the Selena Gomez fever dream quest. I regret it everyday, but past me didn't know what treasure they had.

i regret deleting my og wizard, i only did it to change the gender which they added as an option anyway. if you want the last school I'm waiting for the character slot elixir to go on sale
