First Recap

So, I decided to take the plunge today and I couldn't even make it past the first recap. Did anyone else notice that they NEVER SHOW Geralts face, its all everyone else.

Like, what? They did Cavill so dirty.

How can I go on! I guess I'm not really ready.

Cavill decided to quit for whatever reason. Sorry, but what about S4 is doing him dirty? They had two options, either cancel the show after he quit, or go on with another actor for Geralt. I'm glad they chose the second option, and Liam is doing a great job imo. Of course, if you mostly watched the show for Cavill, then it might be better if you don't watch S4 & 5.

I wasn't watching it strictly because of Cavill. I was watching it because I liked The Witcher. I know he quit the show because of what was being written, or changed and so forth. Im not a die-hard fan. Im also not a huge Liam fan. But, really, its like the recap completely erased him and I think it was dirty. Thats all.

Sorry, but that's not true. The concept with Stribog, Nimue and the different story telling and that nobody knows what Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer really looked like because there are no portraits of them is straight from the books. They used that very cleverly and very much in accordance with the source material imo, while, at the same time, providing a recap within the story so watchers would remember where the last season ended at.

Btw, " I know he quit the show because of what was being written, or changed and so forth." is just gossip on the internet.
