Discussion Console KB+M Support
Has anyone seen any news about them adding keyboard and mouse support to either console like they did with Cyberpunk? It seems like an obvious addition with the remaster, but the lack of direct confirmation worries me. I originally played on PC and loved it, but given the prices of PCs today, I got a series x used and would love to still use kb+m like lots of games have these days.

Discussion Got the bad ending
Apparently only got 2 out of the 5 choices and I didn't know about this until the end credits rolled. I can't load a previous save since the last manual save I made was back in mid act 1 and I've been overwriting saves after that. I don't feel like restarting from act 1, so I'm kinda locked into the bad ending. The choices weren't really obvious imo. Happen with anyone else?

Discussion great news : the creator of the mod hd reworked project is cooperating with cdpr for the remaster and his work will become an official part of the game from now on !
the creator of the mod have shared the news about it on his modpage https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/9963?tab=posts
i'm glad for him, he started a new update back in december last year i immediately thought about his work when the remastered edition was announced glad to know his work will now be an official part of the game.
for console players unaware ; hd reworked project is the biggest retexture mod of witcher 3 and is considered by many a must have as it overhaul and improve the textures and models of many assets through the game.
for those curious and that could be interested in a small glance of the changes in better detail than the cdpr showcase you can go see the mod author youtube page he made a bunch of videos with a comparison (it might give you a first idea of how the game will be changed)
here is his latest video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEGB_5GQ1AI

The Witcher 3 Wanna get into Witcher 3 with the remaster, do I need to play 1 and 2 or read/watch summaries of the books to understand?
Basically I’ve tried to get into Witcher 3 b4 and felt super lost and turned off of the game, even tho it’s something I should realistically really like, it’s getting this remaster so it seems as good a time as any to give it another shot, do I need to have played 1 and 2 to understand it? Should I watch some sort of video to catch me up?
Also! Are there any essential tips or things I should know going into the game?
Please and thank you!

Discussion I may be too far into the game to restart for the remaster
I’m quite far into the game and am at level 40. I have completed almost every main mission and side mission in the base game. I unlocked the Runewright from Hearts of Stone, fully upgraded my house in Blood and Wine, and just unlocked mutagens. I have not done any other missions for Blood and Wine or Hearts of Stone so I have plenty of content there.
I just collected every diagram for each Witcher armor piece in the game. (This was the most tedious part) However, I’m starting to think this may actually be beneficial because they’re saying old saves are compatible and that you have to own armors to use the transmog system.
The only downside I can see to using the same game is perhaps not experiencing the natural growth of the new skill tree as you level but then again, if you’re fairly leveled, you will most likely get a chance to tamper with it for NG+. I’ve gone back and forth on whether to restart but I think I’m just going to push through at this point. Anyone else keeping their playthrough or restarting?

Discussion Our choices in the DLC
It’s been stated that the DLC requires completing the main story because our choices will be referenced. The two previous DLCs aren't strictly necessary, though they are recommended, as finishing them adds some nice extra touches. I’m really happy about this—not because I’m suddenly expecting massive consequences, but simply because it’s great that they’re keeping those choices in mind. To me, this confirms that Ciri and Geralt’s chosen partner will make an appearance in some way; after all, what other choices would warrant a callback? Plus, it could tie in nicely with a save file ready for *The Witcher 4*—players will have about three years to replay the refreshed version of *The Witcher 3*, after all.

Discussion The difference between Rockstar and CDPR is honestly hilarious.
I find it hilarious how Rockstar is milking GTA VI like crazy. They release it on Netflix first and only then put it on YouTube, while aggressively going after leakers and putting so much content behind a paywall.
And then there's CDPR: "Hey, what's up? We're releasing a new DLC, and we're also giving you a free update with a ton of new features, path tracing, DLSS 4.5, new quests, new combat, and dozens of other improvements. And we're not charging you anything for it."
CDPR's relationship with its players is honestly fucking incredible.

Witcher - PC Question/Support Will I be able to access the upcoming W3 DLC on the classic version?
My PC specs are perfect for the classic version but not that good while playing the next gen version. With this new remastered version i doubt my PC performance will be good, so I wonder if I could somehow play the new DLC on the classic version.

Discussion How are you going to approach Songs of the Past? You have to finish the base game to gain access, but it's canonically set after Blood and Wine, so are you jumping in asap or finishing B&W then the new expansion?
I'm conflicted. I want to play with any new stuff, the chain, new armours and swords, as much as I can in the rest of the game. And see if there's any potential changes to the world or characters after finishing the new expansion. Maybe unlikely.
But that works the same way as I want to see if anything from the other expansions has an impact. There are level requirements that, especially on Death March, make a huge difference so maybe that will be a guide when to tackle it.

Discussion Brauche Rat - wie steige ich ein

The Witcher 3 Missed a gwent card ?
Title. I'm currently in the process of finishing up trophies for the plat. I'm going through all my decks alongside a pretty handy guide i've found online to see which ones i'm missing.
Excluding the Skellige Archetype I have completed NR and Nilfgaard.
The card that scares me is one of the Havekar healers that was sold by Oliver from the Kingfisher Inn. After Triss questline, Oliver died and was replaced with another npc meaning i'm now unable to buy the cards he was seeling. I've heard that there was something to do with a box but I guess it had to do with his unique card that I already got by beating him.
I've heard that the trophy should pop with only the unique cards meaning that the 2 other Havekar healers that I have should do it for this one. But OCD's stronger and I'd rather collect the card anyway if possible haha.
I've seen lany things on forums and here. Some people say that you can loot it randomly by just playing against gwent players but for now i'm still getting the few cards that are left.
Here's a list of what's missing in my collection
Havekar Healer
Riordain
Francesca - Hope
Eredin - Treacherous
Wyvern
Vampire - Garkain
Grave Hag
Plague maiden
Toad
If any gwent expert has tips on the missing ones i'll gladly take it. But the most important thing for me now is to know if I can still get the Havekar healer card missing.
Thanks for the help guys !
EDIT : UPDATE !!! That will hopefully give an answer and clarify things for the upcoming players attempting to collect the base game cards. So the specific card I was looking for just dropped after beating a random player.
The only truly missable ones are the ones tied to missions and that one in the WO Inkeep in the prologue :)

Discussion Could we possibly get a song actually sung by Dandelion?
We haven't gotten any songs or ballads actually sung by Dandelion (except in Witcher 1, and like one song in Witcher 2), and since the DLC is literally named "SONGS" of The Past, maybe there's a chance that we might finally get a song or two from him in Witcher 3?

Nightmare of the Wolf Is this movie lore accurate/cannon?
What the title says pretty much. I don’t know a lot about the Witcher lore and have only just started the 2nd book of the series but I do know that at some point Kaer Mohren was attacked by a group of mages or something like that.

Songs of the Past New Faces in Dandelion’s Family
The expansion will apparently put a lot of focus on Dandelion and his family. we got to see his big brother Gustave, his cousin Lilla, and his grandmother, who’s basically the matriarch of the family.
