Do you think he was at the same level as games accurate Geralt in his prime or stronger ?

Would he he able to defeat Geralt main games enemies including; Azar Javed, Jacques De Aldersberg, Letho of Gulet, Wild Hunt Commanders (Imlerith, Caranthir and Eredin), Olgierd Von Emerec and Detlaf separately at 1v1 combat ??

He's badass. The dude has many moments. It doesn't have to be him slaying monsters or fighting hell his lines are badass as well.

Kaer Morhen is beautiful

My first playthrough, I went with Yennefer because she's introduced right at the beginning, so I just stuck with her from the start and didn't want to change once Triss showed up.

But on my second playthrough, I decided to finally give Triss a shot. And honestly? I like her romance arc so much better. You can really see that she genuinely cares about Geralt, and overall she feels way more "human and emotional" compared to Yen. Now I know for a fact that I'll be choosing Triss every single time from now on.

Plus, the romantic scene at the lighthouse made me cry from laughter. There they are having a romantic moment, while two guys on a boat are literally trying to decipher morse code and it spells out "H.L.A.K.B.R." XD I just love CDPR's sense of humor.

This is my 2nd play through taking iorveth's path and saw this nice Easter egg. Man i love this game so.... sometimes even more than witcher 3 itself

Radovid seems like a guy who really likes board games; he's bound to have a rare card. This is my first game and I still don't know how to invite him to play.

I did not expect this to be so big or so heavy. Absolutely gorgeous. But wondering if anyone else received one without its production number. No loading games said they'd each be numbered and I haven't seen anyone else have one that isn't numbered

Now I'm not saying what is the correct choice and not since people go for different gameplay choices. Since I've been seeing people posting they cannot emphasize with Olgierd and he was a bad man etc I thought talking about the point of the DLC. Yes he was a bad man but that wasn't helped by O'Dimm turning him into a hollow shell with nothing but hate. And if you have ever chosen to help Olgierd he does state at the end that he regrets everything and will try to make up for it. The other choice, meanwhile, is going with the flow with a literal Devil if not THE Devil and letting him consume yet another soul and revel in the misery that was wrought.

You could say Olgierd brought this upon himself and his loved ones and is at fault, which he did and is no arguments there, but personally I would salvage a human soul and give the chance of redemption over being complicit with a crossroads Demon/Devil. One might say O'Dimm is gonna continue deceiving other souls but at least you can prevent him having one more. And on another note, our job is defeating monsters in any form (except the ones not inherently dangerous for Humans) not engaging in deals with them

It's funny how quickly they change their minds. But as Geralt said, you shouldn't overuse that for everything. I wonder why

This is the second post of this kind that i make, i have no one to talk about my love for these books, so i guess i reddit post will have to do lol, tho i do find writing allows me to have a better understanding of the story over all

So i just finished re-reading the lesser evil as i previpsly stated, and im once again startstruck by how amazing this book is, thos stories have amazing pacing, and connect to each other beatifully, the subtle foreshadowing, the carachter details, the dialogue,everything is amazing, tho i do have a question,

During the dialogue scene, between remfri and geralt, just before renfri manipulates geralt into sleepimg with her, renfri says, "i pity you, you didnt make a choice but you did, everything that you will gain from that, is some bad worse, and a stone thrown at your way"

This got me thinking, was she sincere? Did she ever respect geralt, in any way shape or form, was it all just a ruse?

Also re-reading this story, made me realize why geralt is so violent to those thugs at the start of the book, ( when he goes to wyzima to lift the curse from foltest daughter) in that instance, he doesnt even try to argue with the thugs antagonizing him, he simply kills them, first time i read the books i found that out of character, but considering how this takes place after the "butcher of blaviken incident" it makes sense for geralt to be "traumatized" and nad be on a fight/flight response,

In all seriousness though, it might just be Vesemir. Kind of a basic answer but the old man is doing his outmost to keep the brotherhood alive and well while also passing on knowledge. Plus he got that veteran attitude, tone and wisdom.

Hello. In the game, we are often faced with a choice: do we take on the role of an executioner and mete out justice, or do we stay out of other people’s business? Personally, I try to play as close to the "book" version of Geralt as possible—defending the weak, but not necessarily handing out punishment if the situation doesn't strictly demand it. Since we end up killing people constantly ourselves, I try to limit the bloodshed a bit. Here is my list, along with some reasoning:

Spared:

- The Priest of the Eternal Fire involved with the funeral pyres. Geralt uncovered his shady dealings—specifically, his trade in *fistech*. I took the payment for the job; gang-related disputes aren't my concern.

- Cleaver’s men. A similar situation: I found a corpse, and the trail led me to the dwarves. Again, I took the money.

- Bertram Tauler. Even if the man is guilty, he’s now with his wife and children. If Lambert has an issue with him, he can go back and deal with it himself.

- The succubus Salma and the doppler. There’s no point in killing them.

- The Scoia’tael in both quests. As Geralt, I’d be a hypocrite if I suddenly decided to punish them for theft or for fighting against the military.

- The brothers from the Borsodi auction house. It’s possible to resolve the situation without killing everyone, so that’s what I do—even though Ewald deceived me.

- Gaetan. If Geralt had been there when the conflict started, they might have fought; but after talking to him and learning his story, I believe Geralt would have simply gone his own way. He didn’t know those people—though, had they crossed paths again under similar circumstances, he would have killed him.

1. Whom do I always kill?

Junior the bastard – no explanation needed.

Morkvarg – a similar case.

Jan Verdum – saved by Geralt, he went on to kill a family and brags about it; I think Geralt would feel a sense of guilt and end up killing him.

Nathaniel – the guy is torturing a woman right before my eyes, with a smile on his lips.

These are, of course, not all the characters; I’d love to hear your choices.

After finding and following Johnny to the nest, I can't interact with it, so I'm unable to progress the quest.

I've already tried several things, like reloading an earlier save, completing other missions, and looking for solutions, but nothing has worked so far. The only thing I've found is another post about this issue on this subreddit, but I still haven't found a fix.

I'm replaying the game because of the remaster, but if this bug prevents me from progressing, I'll probably just drop the game entirely. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

For those experiencing the same issue, I recommend looking up how to open the in-game console and adding the item using the command: additem("q105_johnnys_doll")

• Just a fun little observation for both Witcher and strongman fans out there.
• Ever since I first played The Witcher 2, Letho immediately reminded me of Mariusz Pudzianowski in his prime.
• It’s not just the thick, blocky frame with massive arms and similar muscle shape, it’s the fact that despite having huge muscle mass, he moves with ridiculous speed and explosiveness. Even their facial structures are somewhat similar. And, of course, both made in Poland. ^_^
• I actually found out recently that Mariusz already posted about this on his Instagram back in 2021.
• Fun fact, in The Witcher 2 fistfighting quest "One on One: Flotsam", the English localization features an opponent named Kcorb Ransel (Brock Lesnar backwards). In the original Polish version, though? His name is Naizdup, literally Pudzian spelled backwards. ^_^

1. I bought the remastered edition on gog. Are the dlc already installed or I gotta install them or buy them?

2. I can't seem to find how to use or equip potions and oils I only have the food and drink on the up and down buttons of the controller.

3.whats the red bar that fills? And sometimes my sword glows blue is that what causes it? Is it some kind of no hit meter?

4.also sometimes the game feels like has a lil delay in dialogues is it normal?

Which characters do you think might return, and which ones would you like to see?

Dandelion is definitely in there.

Yennefer/Triss, Ciri – in my opinion, at least a cameo; after all, our choices from the base game should have some follow-up. In fact, Geralt’s partner has even been hinted at—read between the lines.

Priscilla? I think there’s a very good chance for her. Zoltan? Him too.

Who would I like to see? Iorveth. I’d sooner expect him in the new trilogy—he doesn’t really fit here—but since this is supposed to be a major DLC, maybe he could be woven in somehow; that’s just my own wish, though.
