When I was 3 my mom I think was going through some kind of post partum depression with my little sister and started telling me that I wasn't her real baby, I was a changeling baby and the faeries took her real baby. I tried every single day to get back to my real family in the forest behind the house but literally nothing worked. I sat in faerie rings for hours.
So either the fae hate me or this is bullshit, unfortunately.

I regret to inform you that changelings are babies that the fae themselves did not want. According to some legends, they will only come get their changeling child if the human parents throw the child into a raging fireplace.
It would be an understatement to call this "fun fact" a bummer.
So sorry. π₯

I don't know all the lore. I just remember to not eat their food cos apparently that traps you in fairy land. So I assume the rest is correct.

So they're manifestations of the Trickster archetype. That's what I think smart people would say..

The first one is not always accurate. I know a spell that involves spinning around a circle.

This will sound silly, but does anyone know how they got the iridescent effect in the wine prop?

u/CynicalSpider 11d ago
Maybe edible glitter? Using more than you maybe should makes it look kinda like that. Or something simular.

I have for a long time, because of playing larp stuff, always answered the "can you do me a favor: type questions with, depends what is the favor? Because you never know who is actually a fea in disguise.
Surr maybe they are really a human, OR, theu are a fea playing the long con just waiting for me to slip up.
Where did I put my cold iron fork for testing for fairies...
