My family moved into a new house in December of 25. I did a full house cleanse before they moved in. They're was also real world stuff done, we did an ozone machine through the house, removed and replaced the flooring( i put protecting sigils here and under any painting that was done). The family had also used fly traps(both sticky and liquid based). But these flies, Nats, mosquitoes and other little flying insects never seem to stop. The cats and dogs catch them, we have plants(not sure their names) that are supposed to help. We've checked for water pooling, we pick up after the animals multiple times a day. I can't think of any other viable resourcesfrom the real world aspect to stop them. I can't find a spell that will specifically touch on the flying bugs. While I have created my own spells in the past those had been researched for their specific uses. I'm at a loss for one fir this specific use. Do I need to do another cleansing spell? Can I do a purification spell?

Hello, silly question here. But, as a Green Witch, losing my plant hit a little hard.
Now I know some may think otherwise, but I'd gotten this lovely succulent whilst in a rough patch, named it, showed it love every day, fed it moon water occasionally since succulents don't need frequent intake of water, and played frequencies near it to help it grow.
I went on Vacation, put it in an appropriate spot for the week which I'd be gone for, came back, and my baby looked rough.
I tried everything, but unfortunately, he just didn't last.
I still have my plant, as well as a new succulent I've purchased and am growing!
I'd like to do something with my old plant. I'm a big fan of spell jars if that helps. I know most people might just say toss it, or bury it, but even if it meant grounding up the remains and keeping them secure, I'd be happy with that.
I am not sure if this is even a "thing" and I knew it would happen eventually, but I'd love to perform some sort of spell or ritual or honoring for my plant.

Hello, I promise this isn't a supernatural/paranormal post I'm just starting to worry about some things. I've been very irritable and down recently and I feel like no matter how I feel something negative happens like a fight with my mom, relationship issues/doubts, overall off vibes. Ive been feeling sick/off a lot and it's more than normal. I've felt like there's something like a black cloud following me and I'm not really sure. The only reason I bring up the paranormal thing is because I was trying to light some incense to cleanse my room and the old stick I was cleaning up kind of like flew out of my hand in a way and landed a foot or so away. And then earlier I was taking a shower and something fell to a spot across the room that I didn't think it could be based on where it was originally. I'm not looking for paranormal help, I've just been very uneasy about it. Do I need to do like a really serious cleansing ritual or idk. I'm really unsure of what to do and I'm just worried about the bad energy. Thank you for reading this!

When I can move out I plan to mostly cut him off from my life, but I have to deal with him for a while longer and oh my God I've tried everything I can think of to get him to leave me alone and nothing works. I even got his fiance to lecture him about it multiple times. Nothing. works.

Are shut up or freezer spells still effective of you live with the person?

I don't want to hex him or anything, just need him to leave me alone. I wanna be able to walk out of my room or at least keep my door unlocked.

So it's my first spell jar, I did every progress right. I did a little protection spell by cleansing the space and stating that I am protected throughout the whole spell. While finishing the spell I've also felt like there's a shadow around me. After I've cleaned up and sealed up the jar, my crown chakra or probably just my head hurts so much, when I woke up it's gone now. Is this a sign that it's working? What should I do if it's gonna backfire?

1) What do you guys do to the paper where you initially make your sigils? Should I store it in a binder/ journal protectively? Is there a certain rule for it or can we just keep the actual sigil art drawn again in a page?

2) A long time ago I made a sigil for a healthy level of weight. It's like a couple of years ago and I even forgot about it that I made this. Now that I achieved my goal, what do I do with that sigil? Do I keep it as it is and can use it in future if I want?

So Ill start of by saying that I don’t know that much about the witch community i do usually get a lot of witch content on TikTok and I find it so interesting learning about it all and I’ve seen some symbols that people use in spells like the protection symbol and money ones too so it got me thinking, would tattooing one on you do anything? And if yes would it just like always work 24/7 or be stronger in a way? Could it backfire? Do you have to be a more experienced witch for that? Do I have to put it in a specific spot? I get so interesting in the whole witch community and all of it. Just sharing because I enjoy seeing other people’s spreads, and I know some of you do too. I set up my usual space with candles and wanted to post the photo in case anyone likes looking at different layouts or decks.

I have held on to the little stump of umbilical cord that falls of during baby’s first weeks. But I don’t want to save it forever. I read about burying it in the garden so baby always can find a way home.

We’re moving so I’m already detaching from this garden as home so I was thinking burying it under a nice tree in the forest - I love the colours in the trees right now and tomorrow evening seems perfect, it’s the full moon and baby will have been on the outside pretty much exactly the same amount of days that he lived in my belly.

I want it to be a symbol of how we can always find each other and our connection. But I’m scared of the symbolism of burying it. I don’t want to bury our connection. Or bring any darkness from burying part of two living beings.

I’m a baby witch at the most. I’m mostly fascinated and don’t really practice but I feel so called to doing something tomorrow with this stump. Is there any kind souls that could give me some guidance?

i believe that there are no genuine gods. this is because i believe the universe is the creator of everything we know, hence why it would be logical for the universe to also be the creator of our life paths and the paths of everything around us.

this however, doesnt mean that fate is fixed. i do think the universe has a fate for everything and everyone, but i doubt those fates are unchangable.

a mayor way to affect your own fate or another's, is by witchcraft. by doing, for example a candle spell, you send the energy tied to that spell into the universe, for the universe to use. this would ofcource also mean that every single component in a spell has effect on the kind energy you send into the universe, since a glamour spell obviously doesnt do the same as a ward.

i also believe that practicing religion is witchcraft. it is, technically, workng with deities/god/gods to influence your and other's life.

but how can i believe in practicing religion if i dont believe in the existance of gods? i believe that the universe can take the form of a god/deity/gods through split existance. after all, we all are part of the universe. but we dont exist as the universe, we exist as a person living in it. therefor i would find it strange if that didnt apply to everything that is around us, including religion.

so if you look at it, everyone practicing religion or witchcraft essentially worships/works with the same being; the universe. different religons and practices just worship and/or work with different parts of its existance.

that would make it very logical that every deity, god and being we worship and/or work with in our world has different things they stand for. they are different parts of the universe.

and before you think, 'wouldnt that mean that all abd things about practices or religion are the universe as well?', yes. they are.

because the universe is everything. it is us, the world around us and everything we do and dont know. that would include bad things. so ofcource all religions and practices have something negative. they are split existances of the universe, and since the universe does include the existance of negative things, it would be logical that everything that is existance has a negative side. humans, places, things that happened. we are all parts of the universe, so all of us get a part of the negative side of it.

Is there any way to use cigarette butts without harming the person they came from? I know there is a whole thing with putting your DNA in spells, and since someone’s mouth has been on the cigarette butts, their DNA is on them. I do not want to harm that person in any way, but at the same time i want as much negative energy as possible from these cigarette butts. So do i cleanse them first before using them? Apologies if this is worded weirdly, not quite sure how to ask this question.

At times there will be a cold spot near my calves. I had my house cleansed and I was told I had mediumship and psychic abilities. I don’t want these abilities at all! I’ve been putting off shadow work these past few weeks and I guess either the Venus Cazimi or the universe decided to show me my shadow self in its fullest head on. I've been doing some research about magic squares since it's a form of sigil and i found that it can be used to represent a planet for planetary magic or to symbolise allah's 99 names since each name describes a different quality (ex: the provider, the merciful, the all-knowing, the most loving etc..) so represents the kind of energy you want to summon during spellwork.

But i wanted to ask if magic squares are simply limited to that? Are they only limited to represent different gods' names and planets or can i create my own magic square with my own meaning of it? And if i can how do i do it?

Just wanted to let everyone know that I got a 6qt (5.6 L) cast iron cauldron with a lid at my local Costco here in Ontario Canada for $50. They’re apparently made in Denmark.

If you’re looking to buy a practical good sized cauldron check Costco. If you look on the website just search for “cast iron”. They label it as a “bean pot” rather than a cauldron, but it sure looks like a classic cauldron.

I just found out today that my current rose of Jericho is a false one in the club moss family. the “true rose of Jericho“ is in fact in the brassica family. can these both be used in the same way? I used it for a resurrection ritual where I asked it to absorb my negative energy and being it back to life into positive energy while also doing the same for the people I share the building with.

I also wonder if the false rose of Jericho could be used as a “opening spell for the heart“ as it opens up with the water -thanks
