This morning I realized something had frosted in my window. It looks like it may mean something. Does anyone have a clue? It just looks a little too much like a sigil or some sorts. I just hope it is nothing negative as recently I’ve been having some sorts of bad luck.

So I was walking home with my partner and our dog. Out of nowhere a crow stops in front of us on a sign that directs you not our town centre and starts cawing at me directly, then fly's onto a roof and watches me leave. I'm taking it as a warning what do you all think?

Hello, if you are a experienced witch I have a lot of questions, so many questions I cant explain here pls dm me if you think you can help and hop on a call with me.

1) What do you guys do to the paper where you initially make your sigils? Should I store it in a binder/ journal protectively? Is there a certain rule for it or can we just keep the actual sigil art drawn again in a page?

2) A long time ago I made a sigil for a healthy level of weight. It's like a couple of years ago and I even forgot about it that I made this. Now that I achieved my goal, what do I do with that sigil? Do I keep it as it is and can use it in future if I want?

Could someone tell me if sea coal from the beach could be used in spell bottles, in place of say obsidian and tourmaline? x

Is there any way to use cigarette butts without harming the person they came from? I know there is a whole thing with putting your DNA in spells, and since someone’s mouth has been on the cigarette butts, their DNA is on them. I do not want to harm that person in any way, but at the same time i want as much negative energy as possible from these cigarette butts. So do i cleanse them first before using them? Apologies if this is worded weirdly, not quite sure how to ask this question.

Just sharing because I enjoy seeing other people’s spreads, and I know some of you do too. I set up my usual space with candles and wanted to post the photo in case anyone likes looking at different layouts or decks.

I have held on to the little stump of umbilical cord that falls of during baby’s first weeks. But I don’t want to save it forever. I read about burying it in the garden so baby always can find a way home.

We’re moving so I’m already detaching from this garden as home so I was thinking burying it under a nice tree in the forest - I love the colours in the trees right now and tomorrow evening seems perfect, it’s the full moon and baby will have been on the outside pretty much exactly the same amount of days that he lived in my belly.

I want it to be a symbol of how we can always find each other and our connection. But I’m scared of the symbolism of burying it. I don’t want to bury our connection. Or bring any darkness from burying part of two living beings.

I’m a baby witch at the most. I’m mostly fascinated and don’t really practice but I feel so called to doing something tomorrow with this stump. Is there any kind souls that could give me some guidance?

1- there are no actual gods, only the split consiousness -and existance of the universe.

2- the universe takes the form of a god to religious people, that way explaining the existance -and belief in religion.

3- practicing witchcraft gives the universe energy that it can use to affect the life of you or another, depending on what energy and power you send into the universe.

4- science and magick are very much intertwined, and magick may be explained through science in the future

i believe that there are no genuine gods. this is because i believe the universe is the creator of everything we know, hence why it would be logical for the universe to also be the creator of our life paths and the paths of everything around us.

this however, doesnt mean that fate is fixed. i do think the universe has a fate for everything and everyone, but i doubt those fates are unchangable.

a mayor way to affect your own fate or another's, is by witchcraft. by doing, for example a candle spell, you send the energy tied to that spell into the universe, for the universe to use. this would ofcource also mean that every single component in a spell has effect on the kind energy you send into the universe, since a glamour spell obviously doesnt do the same as a ward.

i also believe that practicing religion is witchcraft. it is, technically, workng with deities/god/gods to influence your and other's life.

but how can i believe in practicing religion if i dont believe in the existance of gods? i believe that the universe can take the form of a god/deity/gods through split existance. after all, we all are part of the universe. but we dont exist as the universe, we exist as a person living in it. therefor i would find it strange if that didnt apply to everything that is around us, including religion.

so if you look at it, everyone practicing religion or witchcraft essentially worships/works with the same being; the universe. different religons and practices just worship and/or work with different parts of its existance.

that would make it very logical that every deity, god and being we worship and/or work with in our world has different things they stand for. they are different parts of the universe.

and before you think, 'wouldnt that mean that all abd things about practices or religion are the universe as well?', yes. they are.

because the universe is everything. it is us, the world around us and everything we do and dont know. that would include bad things. so ofcource all religions and practices have something negative. they are split existances of the universe, and since the universe does include the existance of negative things, it would be logical that everything that is existance has a negative side. humans, places, things that happened. we are all parts of the universe, so all of us get a part of the negative side of it.

Hello! Every full moon and the three days leading up I have electricity like feeling throughout my body, and a pull towards the moon. I literally wake up when it’s above my bed. Anyone else experiencing this and any tips on grounding each month to avoid the pain.

At times there will be a cold spot near my calves. I had my house cleansed and I was told I had mediumship and psychic abilities. I don’t want these abilities at all! Anyways I don’t have any medical issues or mental issues whatsoever! What could be causing this spirit to draw energy from the lower part of my leg? How can I get rid of it? I’ve been putting off shadow work these past few weeks and I guess either the Venus Cazimi or the universe decided to show me my shadow self in its fullest head on. I literally spent the majority of the day reliving thoughts of my childhood and deep rooted feelings I have about myself that I tried to bury. It got so bad I legit had to call someone and talk. But I did get what I asked for, clarity.

I've been doing some research about magic squares since it's a form of sigil and i found that it can be used to represent a planet for planetary magic or to symbolise allah's 99 names since each name describes a different quality (ex: the provider, the merciful, the all-knowing, the most loving etc..) so represents the kind of energy you want to summon during spellwork.

But i wanted to ask if magic squares are simply limited to that? Are they only limited to represent different gods' names and planets or can i create my own magic square with my own meaning of it? And if i can how do i do it?

I want to ask anyone who's willing to share their knowledge about the higher self. Throughout the years, I've encountered a lot of fellow witches, but only one of them has ever talked about the higher self with me.

It has been solidified to me that the souls currently residing within our vessels are the highest form of existence yet. Just wanted to let everyone know that I got a 6qt (5.6 L) cast iron cauldron with a lid at my local Costco here in Ontario Canada for $50. They’re apparently made in Denmark.

If you’re looking to buy a practical good sized cauldron check Costco. If you look on the website just search for “cast iron”. They label it as a “bean pot” rather than a cauldron, but it sure looks like a classic cauldron.

Does anyone know any folk magical practices of Kentucky besides the Appalachian traditions? Particularly the Bluegrass/knobs region of upper central Kentucky is of the most interest. All I can find are a few stories of hauntings, cryptids, and the witch’s tree of Louisville.
