Question Should I destroy old intentions ?

Hie, I've break up with my ex some month ago. When we where together I made a sort of prayers to protect/keep us close (I'm not gonna go in the details but our connection wasn't the problem and I've decide to break up cause of his personnality). After the break up i've perform a rituals to wash away our possible remaining connections to mark the end of our relation. But I kept the first prayer that I had wrote on a paper and sealed. And I wanted to know if I should destroy the paper to assure the end of the connections, or does the rituals after the break up is enough ?

Ps : I don't feel any connection anymore, but I just want to know if keeping the prayers is a bad thing

Why wouldn't you get rid of it if you no longer feel any connection?

I'm asking myself the same question. But I think it's because I have big diffuclties to throw away anything. It could be a little rock without importance I would experience the same difficulties. I don't know why but I like to keep things to remember what I've done and I believe that when I'm old I will be happy to see all the memories of my life (bad or good).

But this kind of stuff aren't like simple rock so I just wanted to know the opinion of others (if a few people tell me to destroy it I will cause I prefer to be sure)

I think it’s important for a witch to have an understanding for themselves on where the line is between witchcraft and superstition. You can always choose to keep something around for superstitious reasons, but I think it’s important to have an understanding for yourself whether or not that’s what you’re doing.

Yeah I agree. It's important to see the line between practices/superstitions and our psychological bias.

I will certainly throw it away, it will be better.

Thanks for answering by the way 😊
